It was adversity or hard luck that caused her biological parents to give her up for adoption at birth. Then growing up small, she felt she had to try a little harder at everything she did. Nicole would be the first to admit that her small, almost frail looking stature should have kept her from doing well in any competition, much less a beauty pageant, £ even more so, a swimwear pageant.
